Green bok choy juice is a juice with the color green from bok choy which is a vegetable in Chinese cuisines mostly used as stuffing in spring rolls.

While most people loves it is because it does not taste bitter and it's kind of tasteless and the the interesting part is that you flavor the juice to suit your taste.

Bok choy is gradually gaining popularity in the Europe's culinary world and most especially in England because of the amount of Chinese citizens there since it was originated from China.

Most people like the Chinese cabbage because of its fresh leaves and crunchy stems. You can detect when a bok choy is not fresh by the dead leaves and watery stems. The best way to keep it fresh and dry condition is to refrigerate it and its best if you want to keep it for a long time, you don't wash it but if you still want to wash and keep it in the refrigerator then wrap it with paper to absorb all the water.

It's rich with Vitamin C, beta-carotene, folic acid (vitamin B9)and calcium. It is also rich in vitamin B2, B6, magnesium and iron. Lets see the benefits of having the above elements in our body.

Folic acid - They are healthy for pregnant women, the acid also helps prevent obesity and diabetes type 2.

Beta-carotene - Helps reduce the risk of getting some type of cancer like cataract.

Taking a cup of bok choy will provide up to 15% of the daily recommended calcium the body needs.

Like every other vegetables, bok choy is great source of fiber.

Ingredients:

1. 150 gram of pear

2. 70 grams of bok choy (Chinese cabbage)

3. 1 250 ml of ready to drink soursop juice

Preparation:

1. Wash the vegetable and the pear with warm water, then cut off the bottom part of the stem then peel the pear and cut them into pieces.

2. Cut bok choy into pieces and add all the ingredients into a blender and blend it very well till smooth.

3. Pour the juice content into a glass and refrigerate it for sometime if you want it cold.
